Data Services
LOC provides a wide range of hand-held data collection services, including precision GPS mapping using Trimble devices and Data Collector. We are excited to introduce aerial drone mapping services in Q4 of 2017, which will enable us to more quickly and accurately map large, remote or difficult-to-access sites. LOC can assist with data conversion to ensure that your data meets any required client- or agency-driven standards. We also standardize data so that it will function in a GIS environment, and we can provide QA/QC services to ensure that collected data meets your standards. |
Data Management and Map Production
LOC produces figures for reports and design books to support field data collection efforts, as well as presentations, as-builts and final project displays. In addition to hard-copy maps, we design interactive maps using AGOL. |
Drone Services
LOC offers full-service, high-resolution aerial photography solutions. We specialize in providing quick-turnaround deliverables and next-day or same-day availability for project sites throughout Southern California. Using orthophotogrammetry, we can generate three-dimensional models and conduct 3D spatial analysis, enabling highly accurate mapping, models and analysis. Additionally, drone mapping can be used in areas that are remote, unsafe, or sensitive. |
